Upcoming Reggae Shows in London

October 8, 2012

After some enforced recovery from a very live music heavy summer I’m starting to get the feeling in my bones again. Here’s a selection of shows that have piqued my interest in the next few weeks…

Prince Malachi is a guaranteed killer on stage and he’s headlining Bar A Bar in Stoke Newington on October 20th with support from Reuben Mystic and Bajan visitor Ras Lee…

Fresh from his triumph in Brockwell Park, Anthony B is topping a bill at Brixton Electric on October 28th featuring Malachi, YT, Solo Banton, Michael Prophet and Wayne Lyrics… (THIS SHOW IS NOW CANCELLED DUE TO ANTHONY B’s ILLNESS)

On November 9th lovers rock pioneer and former Brown Sugar member Kofi is getting up close and personal at the Caribbean Edge in Tottenham…

And finally, legendary producer and artist Niney The Observer is appearing with Mafia and Fluxy at XOYO in Hoxton on 17th November…

Just a few of the things going on reggaewise this Autumn. Feel free to add any more events in the comment section…
